Position: Registered Nurse – General Medical Unit
Presbyterian Healthcare Services invites applications for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the General Medical Unit in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Location:
1100 Central Avenue SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106-4930, USA
Base Pay Range:
$37.80/hr – $55.40/hr
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Safely administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and report adverse reactions.
Continuously monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and provide timely interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide education to patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans.
Adhere to infection prevention protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Respond effectively to medical emergencies, including initiating CPR or other life‑saving measures when necessary.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Nursing.
State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
BLS certification required at time of hire.
