This year‑long Transition to Practice Residency program provides newly graduated nurses with foundational training and continuing education credits.
Location: 1100 Central Avenue SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106-4930, United States of America
Pay Base pay range: $37.80/hr – $55.40/hr
Minimum offer: $37.80/hr, Maximum offer: $51.00/hr

Type of Opportunity Full time (FTE 0.9). Job Exempt: No. Work Shift: Varied Days and Hours (United States of America)
Responsibilities Presbyterian provides a year‑long Transition to Practice Nurse Residency Program for newly graduated nurses. Residents obtain continuing education credits upon completion. Students approaching graduation and newly licensed nurses graduating from an accredited college within 12 months are welcome to apply. Qualified candidates must have a current New Mexico RN license and an associate’s degree in nursing or higher (BSN preferred). Residents will be hired as full‑time nursing staff “in training” with full benefits. Hours variable and at various sites.
Program participation required at Presbyterian Hospital, Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital, Presbyterian Rust Medical Center, PRESNow locations and Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center units: Critical Care, Emergency Department, Progressive Care, Medical/Surgical Care, Family Birthing and Mother/Baby Care, Pediatric Care Unit, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Inpatient Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Inpatient Hematology/Oncology, Operating Room.

Qualifications
Minimum associate degree in nursing; preferred accredited nursing program degree.
Registered Nurse–NM license. State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
BLS Certification required at time of hire.
