Monday–Friday | 8:00am–4:00pm Salary Range
$85,000–$100,000 per year (negotiable based on experience) Job Summary
The RN Unit Manager oversees all aspects of the nursing unit, ensuring compliance with policies, monitoring quality of care, and maintaining operational efficiency while delivering excellent resident-centered care. Primary Responsibilities
Supervise nursing staff and oversee daily unit operations Develop, implement, and enforce policies for efficient, compliant care Provide clinical guidance and professional development to nursing staff Maintain high standards of care to ensure resident safety and well-being Review resident records and monitor care quality to ensure accurate treatment plans Conduct case reviews and ensure individualized care plans are consistently followed Address resident and family inquiries promptly and professionally Maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies to support smooth operations Collaborate with upper management and advocate for the unit’s needs Qualifications
Valid NYS RN license Minimum 2 years experience in long-term care (preferred) Minimum 1 year experience in a Unit Manager or supervisory role (preferred) Basic computer skills for documentation and communication Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Leadership ability focused on mentoring and team development Compensation & Benefits
