Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) uses the BSWH nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery.

Using the nursing process, the RN assesses patients, identifies nursing diagnoses, develops and implements individualized plans of care, and evaluates responses.

The RN promotes safe passage for patients, delegates interventions per the Texas Nursing Practice Act, and supports hospital inpatient and outpatient departments with 24/7 staffing.

Essential Functions Of The Role

Conducts accurate clinical assessments, prioritizes patient and family needs, and modifies care plans to meet outcomes.

Systematically evaluates quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, supports evidence‑based changes, and participates in improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Experience:

Minimum 2 years in an inpatient or outpatient setting

Certification/License/Registration:

Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer
