The Outpatient Adult Service Manager provides clinical support and oversight for the Round Rock Clinic, directly supervises all Round Rock Adult MHOP Case Managers and interns. The Outpatient Adult Service Manager will monitor services and the outcome of services provided by Case Managers including assessments, recovery planning, case management, skills training, and psychosocial rehabilitation for individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses.
The position will also be responsible for providing PRN direct services. The direct services that this position may provide include, but are not limited to: intake screening and assessment, crisis assessment and intervention, skills-trainings, and case management services. This position oversees the provision of uniform assessments required by the state authority and the Center, collaboration with individuals served and their parent/LAR to develop treatment plans, and collaborative documentation of services delivered in accordance with individual need and Medicaid standards. The position will also assist in ensuring that programs adhere to contractual and agency guidelines, metrics, and outcome measures. This position is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of process improvement. The Outpatient Adult Services Manager is responsible for hiring, onboarding, team building, and assuring the continued training of Case Management Staff and Interns.
The Outpatient Adult Service Manager will demonstrate the ability to perform all duties expected of a case manager. As the Outpatient Adult Service Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing the day‑to‑day management, review and assignment of all cases to Case Managers based on Case Manager skill level, location of client, walk‑in, and any caseload needs.
The Outpatient Service Manager will work in collaboration with the Clinic Outpatient Manager, addressing clinic flow, client concerns, complaints, and satisfaction with the services they receive.
The Outpatient Adult Service Manager will meet with Case Managers at least every other week; however, may meet weekly if needed, to discuss caseload, administrative duties, consumers need, and/or any issues where the Case Manager needs input on best practices, boundaries, center policies and community resources. The Outpatient Adult Service Manager will bring to the Regional Director of Clinical Operations all issues related to clinical needs of consumers. The Outpatient Adult Service Manager will be available to staff, the community, and persons in services to handle questions related to all aspects of Center services. When needed, the Outpatient Service Manager will also complete TRRs, PCRPs, and Crisis Assessments for behavioral health needs.
Works with all lines of business within Bluebonnet Trails to integrate across different funding sources (state, federal, and local) to ensure the persons we serve receive the most appropriate interventions available.

Hourly Salary Range: $29.45 – $37.20
.75/hour, Bilingual
Up to $2.00/hour, prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
Up to $4.00/hour, tenure with BTCS

Credentials Minimum Qualifications
At least 1 year experience providing behavioral health services in an outpatient setting.
At least 1 year experience in a direct supervisor position.
A Master’s degree in a Human Services field.
Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience providing clinical support for individuals receiving mental health services
Bilingual, Spanish and/or ASL
Familiar with Smartcare software.
Good understanding of services available throughout entire system of care.
