The Outpatient Adult Service Manager provides clinical support and oversight for the Round Rock Clinic, directly supervises all Round Rock Adult MHOP Case Managers and interns. The position monitors services and the outcome of services provided by Case Managers including assessments, recovery planning, case management, skills training, and psychosocial rehabilitation for individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical support and oversight for the Round Rock Clinic.

Directly supervise all Round Rock Adult MHOP Case Managers and interns.

Monitor services and outcomes of services provided by Case Managers including assessments, recovery planning, case management, skills training, and psychosocial rehabilitation.

Provide PRN direct services, including intake screening and assessment, crisis assessment and intervention, skills‑training, and case management services.

Ensure provision of uniform assessments required by the state authority and the Center.

Collaborate with individuals served and their parent/LAR to develop treatment plans and document services delivered in accordance with individual needs and Medicaid standards.

Assist in ensuring programs adhere to contractual and agency guidelines, metrics, and outcome measures.

Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement.

Hire, onboard, build, and train Case Management Staff and Interns.

Oversee day‑to‑day management, review and assign all cases to Case Managers based on skill level, client location, walk‑in, and caseload needs.

Collaborate with the Clinic Outpatient Manager to address clinic flow, client concerns, complaints, and satisfaction.

Meet with Case Managers every other week (or weekly if needed) to discuss caseload, administrative duties, consumer needs, best practices, boundaries, center policies, and community resources.

Report clinical needs to the Regional Director of Clinical Operations and remain available to staff, the community, and persons in services.

Complete TRRs, PCRPs, and Crisis Assessments for behavioral health needs as required.

Integrate across state, federal, and local funding sources to ensure appropriate interventions for recipients.

Qualifications

At least 1 year experience providing behavioral health services in an outpatient setting.

At least 1 year experience in a direct supervisor position.

A Master’s degree in a Human Services field.

Valid Texas driver’s license and maintained approved driver’s status throughout employment.

Preferred: 5+ years of experience providing clinical support for individuals receiving mental health services.

Preferred: Bilingual, Spanish and/or ASL.

Preferred: Familiarity with Smartcare software.

Preferred: Good understanding of services available throughout the entire system of care.

Differential Detail

.75/hour, Bilingual

Up to $2.00/hour, prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas

Up to $4.00/hour, tenure with BTCS

$1.00/hour, Career Ladder Specialty

Salary and Benefits Hourly Salary Range: $29.45 – $37.20. Salary Amount $61,256.00 – $77,376.00 per year.
