Location Round Rock, TX and Taylor, TX
The Outpatient Adult Service Manager provides clinical support and oversight for the Round Rock Clinic, directly supervising all Round Rock Adult MHOP Case Managers and interns. The manager monitors services and outcomes, including assessments, recovery planning, case management, skills training, and psychosocial rehabilitation for individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses.
Responsibilities include:
Providing PRN direct services such as intake screening, crisis assessment, skills trainings, and case management.
Overseeing uniform assessments required by state authority and the Center.
Collaborating with clients and their parent/LAR to develop treatment plans and ensure documentation meets Medicaid standards.
Assisting with program adherence to contractual and agency guidelines, metrics, and outcome measures.
Contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Hiring, onboarding, team building, and continuing training for Case Management Staff and interns.
Reviewing and assigning cases to case managers based on skill level, client location, walk‑in, and caseload needs.
Collaborating with the Clinic Outpatient Manager on clinic flow, client concerns, complaints, and satisfaction.
Meeting with case managers bi‑weekly (or weekly as needed) to discuss caseload, administrative duties, and best practices.
Reporting clinical needs to the Regional Director of Clinical Operations.
Handling staff, community, and client questions regarding Center services, including CRP, PCRP, and crisis assessments.
Integrating across funding sources to ensure appropriate interventions.
Differential Detail
.75 /hour, Bilingual
Up to $2.00 /hour, prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
Up to $4.00 /hour, tenure with BTCS
$1.00 /hour, Career Ladder Specialty
Minimum Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience providing behavioral health services in an outpatient setting.
At least 1 year of experience in a direct supervisory position.
A Master’s degree in a Human Services field.
A valid Texas driver’s license with approved driver status throughout employment.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience providing clinical support for individuals receiving mental health services.
Bilingual in Spanish and/or ASL.
Familiarity with Smartcare software.
Good understanding of services available throughout the entire system of care.
