Job Overview The Outpatient Service Manager provides clinical support and oversight for the Marble Falls Clinic, directly supervises all Marble Falls MHOP Case Managers, and serves as an on‑site supervisor in the absence of the Regional Director of Clinical Operations for office staff including but not limited to: RN, MA, CSRs, interns, and volunteers. The manager monitors services and outcomes provided by Case Managers (assessments, recovery planning, case management, skills training, and psychosocial rehabilitation) for individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses, including youth, adults, and family members.

The position also provides PRN direct services. Direct services may include, but are not limited to: intake screening and assessment, crisis assessment and intervention, skills training, and case management services. The manager oversees the provision of uniform assessments required by state authority and the Center, collaborates with individuals served and their parent/LAR to develop treatment plans, and collaboratively documents services delivered in accordance with individual need and Medicaid standards.

The manager assists in ensuring that programs adhere to contractual and agency guidelines, metrics, and outcome measures. They contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives. The Outpatient Services Manager is responsible for hiring, onboarding, team building, and ensuring continued training of Case Management Staff and interns.

The manager demonstrates the ability to perform all duties expected of a case manager and oversees day‑to‑day clinic management, including flow and scheduling in collaboration with the Office Manager; reviews and assigns all cases to Case Managers based on skill level, consumer location, walk‑in, and caseload needs.

The manager addresses client concerns, complaints, and satisfaction with the services received.

The manager meets with Case Managers at least every other week (or weekly if needed) to discuss caseload, administrative duties, consumer needs, and any issues requiring input on best practices, boundaries, center policies, and community resources. All issues related to clinical needs of consumers are brought to the Regional Director of Clinical Operations. The manager is available to staff, the community, and persons in services for questions related to all aspects of Center services. When needed, the manager completes TRRs, PCRPs, and crisis assessments for behavioral health needs.

Works with all lines of business within Bluebonnet Trails to integrate across different funding sources (state, federal, and local) to ensure that the persons served receive the most appropriate interventions available.

Hourly Salary Range $27.85 - $33.60

Differential Detail

.75/hour - Bilingual

1.00/hour - Master’s degree in a Human Services field

Up to $4.00/hour - Tenure with BTCS

Minimum Qualifications

At least 1 year experience providing behavioral health services in an outpatient setting

At least 1 year experience in a direct supervisor position

Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience providing administrative support for individuals receiving mental health services

Bilingual, Spanish and/or ASL

Familiar with Smartcare software

Good understanding of services available throughout entire system of care

Master's degree in a Human Services field
