Classification Title: Temporary-Technical/Paraprofessional Working Title: IMC Veterinary Technician Requirements and Preferences
Work Schedule: 24/7 facility, hours will vary, nights and weekends preferred. Minimum Experience/Education: Prefer 1 year experience in a speciality hospital as a veterinary technician or assistant. Department Required Skills: Ability to monitor ill patients and provide needed care. Ability to perform IV venipuncture, IV and urinary catheter placement. Ability to calculate and dose medications correctly. Great communication skills. Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education: Prefer 1 year experience in a speciality hospital as a veterinary technician or assistant. Required License or Certification: N/A Valid NC Driver's License required? No Commercial Driver's License Required? No Recruitment Details
