Our Production Supervisor assists in the coordination and development all operational aspects of all Show‑Site operations, which are inclusive of Freight, Logistics and Decorating. They are expected to deliver the highest level of customer service in the most efficient manner possible. The Production Supervisor reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
Supervise warehouse carpenter employees, ensuring efficient & productive workflow and that SOPs are followed.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve conflicting information and ensure that designs and plans support efficient and effective installation at showsite.
Demonstrate an understanding of compliance requirements for OSHA and GES Safety Requirements and manage teams to perform in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
Manage and motivate union labor to deliver exceptional productivity through effective supervision, clear communication, and teamwork.
Supervise all operations involving union personnel within the guidelines and spirit of all current contracts & collective bargaining agreements.
Manage departmental inventory, including tracking, ordering, and maintaining accurate records to support efficient operations.
Performs other duties as assigned and deemed necessary of the position.
Qualifications
Required one (1) to three (3) years in an operational environment.
Must demonstrate proficiency in basic financial and computer skills.
Strong organizational, planning and communication skills.
Must be detail oriented, excellent communicator, a team player and a self‑starter understanding team goals.
Requires ability to adapt to multiple settings and shifting responsibilities.
Must be able to work under pressure.
May include nights, weekends and at showsite.
Position may require long hours during several months of the year. Typically performs work on the warehouse floor, in noisy and dynamic areas.
Requires working both alone and with others in a team atmosphere.
Requires working with union and non‑union employees.
