Summary Performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned nursing area. The position requires a commitment of three days per week, with 12‑hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Responsibilities
Assists with processing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
Assembles and maintains patient records and charts
Performs needed clerical tasks, including copying, faxing, filing, and ordering/obtaining supplies
Greets patients and visitors
Monitors, answers, screens, and routes all telephone calls
Handles emergency alerts, pages, and overhead announcements as requested
