Overview
Research Technician – Kansas Wild Turkeys, Greater Prairie Chickens and Mourning Doves Research. This position will perform duties associated with the initiation of a statewide research project on wild turkeys, mourning doves, greater prairie chickens, and the development of landcover maps. This position is Hybrid eligible. Responsibilities
Conduct field research on wild turkeys, mourning doves, and greater prairie chickens. Gather and analyze data related to population status and habitat use. Create landcover maps using GIS and other computing systems. Collaborate with Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Qualifications
Minimum
High school diploma. Preferred
B.S. in natural resources or a related field. Experience with GIS and other computing systems to create landcover maps. Experience in collaboration with Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. Sponsorship Eligibility
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship. How to Apply
