Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nurse Midwife / Certified Professional Midwife to join our homebirth team. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care, supporting women throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality services aligned with ACNM/NARM standards and HIPAA regulations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic homebirth setting, contributing to positive patient outcomes and family health. Minimum of 18 shifts/month. Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews. Perform obstetric procedures such as labor & delivery management, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care. Provide primary care services including family planning, contraception counseling, and gynecological examinations. Administer medications, injections, IV insertions, and perform venipuncture with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Assist with specimen collection, processing, and laboratory testing as needed. Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and clinical findings. Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care post-treatment or delivery. Support acute care needs in home settings including NRP and BCLS experience when applicable. Ensure patient safety by following all protocols set forth by Eden Birth & Wellness. Individual who works well in a team setting and is a team player. Onboard training available. Skills

Extensive knowledge of obstetrics & gynecology (Ob/Gyn), physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Certified in NRP / BCLS. Proficiency in medical documentation systems such as EMR/EHR platforms; experience with inpatient/outpatient settings preferred. Skilled in suturing, specimen collection/processing, medication administration, IV insertion, venipuncture, and holistic pain management techniques. Strong understanding of family planning options and reproductive health management. Experience with hospital environments including OR experience is advantageous; Labor & Delivery / NICU experience is a plus. Excellent patient assessment skills along with the ability to monitor patients effectively during labor & delivery or postpartum visits. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality and privacy of patient information. This position is ideal for dedicated healthcare professionals committed to providing exceptional maternal-fetal care within a supportive team environment. Pay: $70,000.00 - $93,000.00 per year Benefits
