Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – JGS Lifecare, Longmeadow, MA.
Competitive pay:
$36–$41
per hour with a
$4,000
sign‑on bonus for 24+ hours per week.
Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality, compassionate care to residents as a constant companion.
Ensure resident safety and deliver all services and tasks under the resident care plan.
Chart and report changes in residents' conditions, such as responses to medication or treatment.
Provide basic resident care and treatments (temperature, blood pressure, etc.).
Assist residents with daily activities and support services.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current Massachusetts LPN licensure.
Experience in geriatrics or long‑term care (preferred but not required). Maintenance of valid CPR certification is preferred.
Maintain educational competency as required by state and federal regulations.
Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, push, pull, lift or carry up to 20 pounds unassisted and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Effective communication skills with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and staff.
Schedule Full‑time, part‑time, and per‑diem schedules available – days, evenings, and overnights on weekdays and weekends. Shifts: 7 am–3 pm, 3 pm–11 pm, 11 pm–7 am.
