YMCA Camp Piomingo is a co-ed overnight camp where campers develop, grow, and become the best version of themselves. All staff members are expected to help achieve this purpose through their specific responsibilities and daily interactions. The Hospitality & Camp Experience Director is responsible for creating a camp environment where participants’ care and comfort is at the heart of daily life. This full-time role oversees nutrition, dining, experiences, and camper/staff wellbeing while ensuring clean, welcoming facilities that support healthy habits. By focusing on balanced meals, positive lifestyle choices, and a culture of care, the Hospitality & Camp Experience Director helps every camper and staff member thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally during their camp experience. Minimum age: 21 years Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, public health, recreation, hospitality/food service, or related field preferred; or 3–5 years of related experience ServSafe training (YMCA can help achieve certification if needed) Experience in wellness promotion, nutrition, or health education preferred Ability to communicate effectively with campers, parents, staff, and volunteers Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple priorities Able to demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, creativity, and a commitment to modeling healthy living practices Good character, maturity, and alignment with YMCA values and goals Must clear a federal background check
