Autism Center of Excellence is hiring full-time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in the Virginia Beach, VA area. This position is primarily clinic-based, with limited in-home support as needed.
This role is ideal for experienced RBTs seeking consistent weekday hours, strong BCBA support, and a structured clinical environment. We are looking for dependable clinicians who value quality care, teamwork, and long-term stability.
Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA Collect and document accurate session data Support communication, social, and daily living skill development Collaborate closely with BCBAs and clinical team members Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging therapy environment Requirements
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required) Availability for full-time weekday work (30+ hours per week) Professional, reliable, and compassionate approach to care Experience working with children preferred Comfortable working primarily in a clinic-based setting Required Skills
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) implementation One-on-one therapy with children Behavior data collection and documentation Following behavior intervention plans Professional communication with clinical teams Patience, consistency, and engagement Educational Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (required) Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required) Benefits
