About the Role We're seeking a highly experienced
Lead Java Developer
to drive the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable, cloud‑native microservice solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
telecommunications , modern
Java frameworks
(Spring Boot), and a proven ability to modernize legacy systems.
You will lead engineering teams, implement
CI/CD pipelines , optimize performance, and ensure the security and reliability of enterprise applications. This role demands deep knowledge of
event‑driven architectures ,
API gateways , and
identity/billing platforms , along with strong communication and cross‑functional leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and deliver scalable, cloud‑native microservice solutions using
Java
and
Spring Boot
Lead modernization of legacy systems into cloud‑ready architectures
Design and implement
CI/CD pipelines
for rapid, high‑quality deployments
Oversee
API gateway
design, integration, and security best practices
Implement event‑driven architecture patterns using
Kafka
or similar technologies
Ensure system performance, scalability, and security at enterprise level
Mentor and guide development teams, fostering collaboration and technical excellence
Required Skills
7+ years of professional Java development experience, including 3+ years in a
lead or architect role
Expertise in
Spring Boot ,
API design , and
microservice architecture
Strong hands‑on experience with
AWS ,
Docker , and
Kubernetes
Solid understanding of
event‑driven systems
and
Apache Kafka
Proven track record with
CI/CD tools
and DevOps practices
Experience with
billing
or identity management platforms a plus
Nice to Have
Background in telecommunications
Experience with
Cloud Computing
and
Continuous Delivery/Integration
at scale
Familiarity with
collaboration and communication tools
for distributed teams
Knowledge of
cost optimization
and performance tuning in cloud environments
