IT Technical Support/ DeskSide Refresh (Desktop/ Helpdesk)
Primary Location: Camarillo, CA (100% on‑site daily; occasional travel to Thousand Oaks, Hawthorne, Torrance, El Segundo).
Overview Immediate temp‑to‑hire role (~3 months, potential FTE) for a client with 15+ years of staffing. Technician will provide deskside IT support, hardware/software maintenance, and user provisioning.
Responsibilities
Provide daily on‑site IT support at the Camarillo site with occasional travel.
Install, refresh, and troubleshoot hardware and software.
Perform new user setup, printer configuration, and network cabling as needed.
Respond to tickets, research solutions, and document issues.
Create knowledge base articles for recurrent problems.
Maintain equipment check‑out, conference room systems, and preventive maintenance.
Escalate complex issues to regional team and ensure compliance with policies.
Qualifications
U.S. citizenship only (no dual citizenship).
Current CDL and willing to travel between sites.
3–5 years recent deskside support experience (Windows 11, Office 365, Active Directory).
Strong communication, high energy, and proactive personality.
Associate degree or 5+ years experience; IT certifications preferred.
Basic math, reasoning, and computer skills (Windows 10, AD, Office).
Hourly Rate: $30/hr (non‑exempt).
