This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a client‑facing office environment, managing daily operations, and supporting a team of accountants and tax professionals.
Role Description The Front Office Coordinator will greet clients, manage front desk operations, answer and route incoming phone calls and emails, and schedule appointments. The position involves assisting with client onboarding, maintaining accurate client records, coordinating document intake—especially during tax season—and providing administrative support to accountants and tax professionals. The ideal candidate will help ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations while maintaining a welcoming, professional office environment.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in an office coordination, administrative, or front‑desk role
Strong communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and organizational ability
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced office environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology
Preferred / Plus
Experience in a CPA firm, tax office, or accounting practice
Familiarity with client management or practice management software such as QuickBooks, Tax Dome, SmartLev, Drake
Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally
