We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Talent Acquisition Professional to join our Advanced Facilities recruiting team, with a dedicated focus on scaling our Data Center Design Engineering talent pipeline. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering full‑cycle recruiting solutions for some of the most technically complex and business‑critical engineering positions across our global data center portfolio.

This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the best candidates.

As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Professional, you’ll partner closely with leaders across our Data Center Engineering, Architecture, and Project Management groups. Your work will directly support the hiring of highly specialized design professionals who shape the next generation of hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers. You’ll ensure an exceptional candidate experience while driving recruiting strategies for roles such as Electrical Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Civil & Structural Engineers, Fire Protection Engineers, Architects, BIM Specialists, Controls Engineers, and Project Management specialists. Your ability to source passive engineering talent will be essential to your success.

This role can be based in a Jacobs office, hybrid, or 100% remote, with minimal travel for key meetings as designated by the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Responsibilities

Researching niche engineering roles

Opening and managing requisitions

Sourcing and cold‑calling passive candidates

Conducting phone screens

Coordinating interviews

Negotiating and closing offers

Maintaining meticulous tracking of candidate activity and ensuring timely communication throughout the process

Building robust talent pipelines and project‑specific engineering rosters that accelerate future hiring

Preparing and delivering recruiting reports to share with Talent Acquisition leadership and hiring manager teams

Promoting Jacobs’ culture of inclusion and championing equal employment opportunity as a competitive advantage in technical recruiting

Required Qualifications

8+ years of recruiting experience

Minimum 2 years in Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), or technical environments supporting professional‑level roles

Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system (ATS) – Avature preferred

Demonstrated success building talent pipelines that accelerate hiring for hard‑to‑fill engineering roles

Knowledge of OFCCP procedures and regulations in the US

High level of personal accountability, integrity, and authenticity; detail‑oriented, passionate, and intellectually curious

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field of business administration

Previous senior‑level in‑house recruiting experience supporting data center design, mission‑critical engineering, or EPCM organizations within large cap, Fortune 500 environments

Experience with advanced reporting tools such as Excel and PowerPoint

Strong planning and organizational skills to manage a high requisition workload (≈30 reqs & 5‑10 exempt level / senior engineering hires per month)
