Experiences Litigation / Trial Paralegal (Houston, TX)
We are seeking an experienced litigation paralegal for our Midtown, Houston office. Someone preferably with at least four (4) years of experience in heavy litigation cases, with hands‑on trial experience, and who is comfortable supporting attorneys at trial. The successful candidate should be able to work with the litigation team to develop the case and will be responsible for managing documents, both electronic and paper, at trial (state and federal court) or arbitration (AAA or JAMS). You will also be tasked with preparing minor pleadings, which your supervising attorneys will review.
Responsibilities
Work with the trial team from inception, discovery, organizing production through trial.
Maintain the case calendar and all deadlines.
Electronic filing in state and federal courts.
Qualifications
4+ years as a Litigation Paralegal with hands on trial experience
Very detail-oriented
Ability to organize and summarize voluminous documents
Timely complete projects assigned to you
Ability to work overtime. This is most definitely
not
a 9-5 job. You will be required to field calls after hours.
Compensation $70,000 - $85,000 DOE
Bonuses based on performance and hours billed (bonuses estimated at $5,000 - $12,000 annually)
