Advanced Clinical Social Worker (Part-Time) State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is seeking an experienced part-time Advanced Clinical Social Worker to join our team.

Position Highlights

This position is eligible for weekend differential.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive, evidence‑based counseling and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health challenges.

Deliver crisis intervention and assessment as part of the Mobile Crisis Team.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Advocate for client access to community resources and services.

Document client interactions, progress notes, and care plans electronically according to agency protocols.

Qualifications

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent advanced clinical social work credential.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience within behavioral health or crisis services.

Strong communication, assessment, and crisis management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a mobile crisis team.

Must be available for the specified shift hours.

Other Requirements

Completion of a comprehensive medical examination, including drug screening, is required for all applicants upon a conditional offer of employment.
