About the Role In this role, you will work as a member of our tenured team to support day-to-day office operations while also partnering closely with our internal team, candidates, clients, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate is highly organized, approachable, and comfortable taking ownership across a range of administrative and operational responsibilities to help the business run smoothly. This position is based in‑person out of our Madison, WI office. Our office’s hours of operation are 8am - 5pm Monday through Thursday, and 8am - 4pm on Friday. This role is a core member of our Madison‑based team and offers the opportunity to work closely with individuals at an exciting time in their lives: when they are starting a new role or advancing their career!
Responsibilities
Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Serve as the primary front‑of‑office point of contact, greeting visitors and managing incoming phone calls
Coordinate and schedule team meetings, internal events, and office activities
Support recruitment operations and internal office processes, including onboarding activities for new contract employees and job postings
Assist with payroll and timekeeping to ensure accurate, timely processing of contract employee hours and compensation
Take on additional operational and administrative projects as business needs evolve
Uphold organizational values
Qualifications
Detail oriented with consistent follow-through
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple technology systems
Customer service mindset and professional communication skills
Resourceful with a can‑do attitude
Required Skills
Prior administrative, office coordination, or HR support experience preferred
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Pay range and compensation package This position offers a salary range of $48,000–$58,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
