Key Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology, Wildlife Management, or closely related field.

Year of professional work experience in wildlife management, ecology, habitat restoration and/or research.

Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised in field situations.

Ability to operate motor vehicles, including boats, nets, traps, 4x4 vehicles, all-terrain vehicles and communications equipment.

Physical labor ability such as planting, handling captive animals, and lifting.

Must complete the course entitled, The Foundations of Wildlife Chemical Capture.

Valid driver's license.

Copy of relevant academic transcripts and/or certifications.

Copy of valid driver's license.

If applicable, proof of enrollment in a Federally recognized Tribe.

If claiming Veterans preference, a copy of DD214.

Employment Details

Salary range $26.74 to $30.73 per hour (Including Benefits: Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement, Long-term Disability, and PTO & Paid Holidays).

This position is not a testing designated position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy.

If not already employed by CSKT, must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) month probationary period.
