Product Development Engineer – Power Generation Engines – 1705 – WI
Overview 3 positions open at different levels. Salary ranges are DOE. Relocation available.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering input to product development projects, interfacing with a cross‑functional team that includes engineering, operations (industrial engineering, production, material procurement), sourcing, quality, service, and marketing.
Develop and improve engines for commercial and industrial power generation.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer for product development.
Experience with 3D design using Solidworks or Creo.
Experience with machine design (engine design highly desired).
BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Desired Experience & Skills
Experience with engine design (anything other than Engineer I is a MUST).
Experience with plastics and various metal design.
Experience with GD&T, FEA, and CFD analysis.
Experience with castings and forging.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Experience with materials selection for product design.
Experience with product testing and validation.
