Overview

ReNuke Services is seeking an entry-level Project Manager for our client’s utility site in Charlotte, NC!

Description

This position will project manage land acquisition projects (typically substation property and transmission line right-of-way) for Power Grid Operation – Carolinas West.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of project management principles
• Decision making, critical thinking, and problem solving
• Project-related work experience

• Proven collaborative team member

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university
• PMI certification (PMP or CAPM)
• Working knowledge to proficiency in project-related scheduling and cost controls
• Experience in electric utility industry
• Knowledge of real estate acquisition and siting
• Knowledge of county code requirements and permitting

Communication Responsibilities

The Project Manager will communicate with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to senior department leadership (i.e. from individual contributors up to executive management).
