What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support Long Term Care Claims leadership with reports, data, and analytical insights
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their goals, gather business requirements, and develop key performance indicators dashboards
- Conceptualize, create, and automate dashboards in PowerBI for tracking metrics and driving business recommendations
- Build and maintain reporting using tools such as SQL, Spotfire, and PowerBI
- Participate in strategic initiative projects by providing insight and data analysis
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical discipline
- 2-5 years of professional experience developing SQL code in Oracle or Microsoft SQL
- Strong knowledge of managing and analyzing structured data using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Python
- Proficiency in writing SQL and optimizing established SQL queries
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with a critical thinking ability to identify trends
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in creating dashboards and reports in PowerBI
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices
- Knowledge of the insurance or long-term care industry
- Ability to build strong relationships with senior management and stakeholders
