What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Support Long Term Care Claims leadership with reports, data, and analytical insights
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their issues and develop key performance indicators dashboards
- Conceptualize, create, and automate dashboards in PowerBI for tracking metrics and driving business recommendations
- Build and maintain reporting using tools such as SQL, Spotfire, and PowerBI
- Provide insight and data analysis for Claim strategic initiative projects
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends using data
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical or technical discipline
- 2-5 years of professional experience in developing SQL code in Oracle or Microsoft SQL
- Strong knowledge of managing and analyzing structured data using Microsoft Excel, SQL, and/or Python
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI and Spotfire
- Familiarity with Long Term Care insurance or claims processes
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
