Executive Assistant – General Dynamics Information Technology

The Executive Assistant provides direct administrative support to federal staff at a government agency in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

  • Provides executive-level administrative and operational support.
  • Manages scheduling, communications, and office logistics—arranging and coordinating meetings, booking spaces, drafting agendas, taking minutes, and following up with participants.
  • Creates, reviews, and briefs administrative and operational reports as required.
  • Ensures efficient coordination, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties and supports special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related discipline; at least 6 years of related experience.
  • Prior experience providing executive-level administrative and operational support, including scheduling, communications, and office logistics.
  • Strong attention to detail, administrative and organization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities and independently meet deadlines.
  • Expertise in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.

Additional Requirements

  • This position requires an existing Public Trust or the ability to obtain one.
  • This role and associated duties will be performed on site at a government facility located in Washington, DC.
