Compensation and Benefits: Anticipated Hiring Salary: $3,000 per month. The position is full‑time and non‑exempt. Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Assistant Athletic Director for Football and Director of Scouting, the Assistant Director of Recruiting Operations will coordinate all aspects of recruiting potential student athletes. The role requires staying abreast of industry standards and best practices, and supporting the philosophy, goals, and mission of the Fresno State Athletics Department while adhering to NCAA policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of office procedures, methods, and practices.
- Knowledge of office machines and computer software, including Microsoft Office, electronic mail, electronic business forms, and the internet.
- Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Demonstrated competence in understanding, interpreting, and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas, and instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills with the ability to compose professional correspondence (emails, social media posts, etc.) to attract student‑athletes.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year institution.
- Minimum two (2) years of football experience at the collegiate or NFL level.
- Must be immediately eligible to obtain a State of California driver’s license and be able to comply with all university driving requirements; a background check of the driving record is required.
