Assistant Director of Recruiting Operations
Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Salary: $3,000/month
This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Assistant Athletic Director for Football and Director of Scouting, the Assistant Director of Recruiting Operations will assist in coordinating all aspects of recruiting potential student athletes. The candidate will stay abreast of industry standards and best practices, support the philosophy, goals, and mission of the Fresno State Athletics Department, and adhere to NCAA policies and procedures.
Key Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of office procedures, methods, and practices.
- Knowledge of office machines and computer software, including Microsoft Office, electronic mail, electronic business forms, and the internet.
- Thorough knowledge of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
- Demonstrated competence in understanding, interpreting, and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas, and instructions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong verbal communication and persuasion skills with the ability to compose professional correspondence (emails, social media posts, etc.) to attract student-athletes.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
- Minimum two (2) years of football experience at the collegiate or NFL level.
- Must be immediately eligible to obtain a State of California driver’s license and must be able to comply with all university requirements pertaining to driving on university business. A background check of the candidate’s driving record is required.
