Exciting Opportunity for Healthcare Professionals: Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Acute Care Providers in Urgent Care Settings

We are seeking committed Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to deliver compassionate, efficient care to diverse patient populations, including adults and children as young as 6 months. This vital role offers the chance to work independently in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise to impact patient outcomes positively.
Overview:
As a key member of our urgent care team, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with a variety of urgent health needs. The ideal candidate is proficient with Epic electronic medical records, capable of managing a full patient load independently, and possesses excellent soft skills to foster effective communication with support staff and patients alike. You will operate under minimal supervision with full accountability for patient care, contributing to the overall success of our urgent care centers. Required Skills:
- Certification: Valid Board Certification (BC) or NCCPA certification for PAs, and appropriate certification for NPs (Family NP Cert, Board Certified)
- Experience: Minimum of 12 months in urgent care, emergency medicine, or family practice settings
- EMR Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR system
- Procedures: Ability to perform minor procedures such as I&D, Lac repairs, Ear irrigations, among others
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently
- Certifications: BLS certification required
- Licensing: Active and unrestricted medical license and DEA registration as applicable
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with performing minor procedures and pediatric care
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
- Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Advanced degree (Master s or higher) in Nursing or Physician Assistant programs
- At least 12 months of recent clinical urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- Comfort working with pediatric and adult patients
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to support multiple urgent care locations within a 65-mile radius of your residence
- No travel or lodging reimbursements; mileage reimbursement only
- Ability to work independently without supervision, with supervision provided by offsite physician as needed
- Participation in clinical interviews, EMR training, and onboarding prior to first solo shift
