Exciting Opportunity for Physician Assistants in Acute, Urgent, and Family Medicine
Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Physician Assistant specializing in Acute Care, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine. What You Will Bring:
- Minimum of 12 months of relevant clinical experience in urgent or family medicine
- Board certification (CCPA, NCCPA, NP Boards) and current BLS certification
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system and ability to use it confidently for all patient visits
- Ability to independently evaluate and treat all patient ages (6 months and up) in urgent care settings
- Strong interpersonal and soft skills to effectively communicate with patients and support staff
- Capable of performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation, among others
Nice to Have:
- Experience with pediatric and adult urgent care cases
- Familiarity with minor procedures commonly performed in urgent care clinics
- Previous experience working in a multi-provider urgent care environment
- Willingness to work within a 65-mile radius of your residence, supporting multiple sites as needed
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) with at least one year of clinical experience in urgent or emergency medicine
- Prior experience with Epic electronic health records
- Demonstrated ability to work independently without supervision, as the sole provider in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to undergo clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding prior to start
- Ability to see and treat patients independently in urgent care settings
- No travel reimbursement; support available for local assignments within specified radius
- Willingness to perform minor procedures and document thoroughly via EMR
