We need a highly talented Technical Program Manager for the Region Build Strategy and Programs organization to help lead the most critical functions of our OCI business. This person will be directly responsible for leading programs focused on region build automation and delivery.
This high-visibility, high-impact role will help shape our future Oracle cloud business and enable growth. The role comes with a high degree of personal accountability and autonomy and will require effective engagement across all cross‑organizational functions to deliver results. You should have a strong multidisciplinary operations, technology, and business background, as well as a track record of influencing and presenting to senior business and technology leaders and driving critical delivery initiatives at the highest levels. Strong executive communications, customer engagement, and business analytics skills are essential.
Responsibilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels, including the executive level.
Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands.
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.
Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues.
Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade‑offs and options in presentation and technical documentation.
Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership.
Aptitude to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and/or cultures.
Experience in analyzing complex customer contracts to obtain a complete understanding of terms related to cloud infrastructure.
Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested.
Drive other obligations management duties, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a hands‑on technical project or program manager, preferably in a related industry.
Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of software development and experience managing cloud services.
Preferred Qualifications
10+ years of project management, product design or related experience.
BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience (MS preferred).
Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking.
