The Supply Chain Inventory Forecast Analyst is responsible for analyzing historical consumption patterns, seasonality, and itinerary-based demand to generate accurate forecasts, maintaining and enhancing forecasting models, and entering demand projections into the IMS system; this role also recommends improvements to planning cycles and reporting processes to mitigate supply risks, leverages IMS data and forecasting tools to prevent stockouts and optimize inventory across warehouses and voyages, collaborates with Supply Chain Planners to ensure proactive inventory management aligned with cruise schedules and special events, and contributes to the design and integration of dashboards and scorecard reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze historical consumption trends, seasonality, and itinerary-based demand to produce precise inventory forecasts.
Maintain and continuously improve forecasting models, ensuring that demand projections are timely and accurately entered into the IMS system.
Collaborate with Supply Chain Planners and cross-functional teams to proactively manage inventory in alignment with cruise schedules and special events.
Utilize IMS data and advanced forecasting tools to prevent stockouts and optimize inventory levels across warehouses and voyages.
Contribute to the validation, integration, and enhancement of dashboards and scorecards for effective supply chain reporting.
Support ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at increasing planning accuracy, inventory turnover, and operational readiness.
Develop and maintain inventory supply summaries by product category on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Participate in root cause analysis and manage exceptions related to production delays, shortages, and shifts in demand.
Enable data-driven decision-making by providing actionable insights to the team.
Prepare materials and actively participate in weekly Supply Chain Management and IMS meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE TYPE:
Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY:
Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business Administration, Analytics or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, or materials management.
Experience with enterprise planning tools (e.g., JDA, O9, SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or equivalent).
Exposure to inventory management, inventory optimization, allocation and demand forecasting is preferred.
COMPETENCIES & SKILLS
Knowledge of supply chain planning concepts and best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
