Location: 1500 5th Street, Sacramento, Sacramento County.
Salary: $6,513.00 – $10,537.00 per month

Position Type: Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities
Administer and support CI/CD pipeline integration and Application Life‑cycle Management tools aligned with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Install, configure, and administer SDLC tools including code repository, version control, requirements management, and application performance monitoring.
Resolve complex technical problems for development teams and support cross‑functional integration of platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Tableau.
Establish technical specifications and standards, perform complex system analysis, and develop system performance standards and engineering architectural solutions.
Lead or advise IT staff in analyzing and developing systems across all SDLC phases: design, development, testing (unit, system integration, regression, and end‑user), deployment, and maintenance.
Lead enterprise‑scale IT projects that involve cross‑functional teams and integrate multiple platforms with SDLC tools to support business‑critical applications.
Minimum Qualifications
Eligibility may be determined by score on the Information Technology Specialist I exam.
For those not currently in state civil service, a completed State examination application and valid exam score are required.
Proof of education, license, or certificate as required by the Classification Specification.
Special Requirements
Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) is required; must be typed, max two pages, 12‑point Arial font.
Desirable Qualifications
Hands‑on experience administering and supporting enterprise platforms such as Tableau, Jira, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
Experience analyzing and designing scalable software systems, conducting root cause analysis, and applying Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency in preparing written and verbal correspondence, translating technical concepts, and delivering end‑user training.
Experience supporting multiple high‑priority systems initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
