We are seekinga Vascular Ultrasound Technologist ,sometimes referred to as a RegisteredVascularTechnologist (RVT),Ultrasound TechnologistRVTor Vascular Technologist.Vascular Technologist’s willspecialize in performing and interpreting vascular ultrasounds. Inourhospitalthis iscritical for diagnosing and monitoring conditions related to the blood vessels and circulatory system.You willprovide a crucial bridge between technology and patient care, helping detect life-threatening vascular conditions and improving overall treatment outcomes.

** To perform duties in this position you must beRVTcertifiedthrough theAmerican Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography(ARDMS)orRegistered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
Use specialized vascularultrasound equipment to evaluate blood flow, veins, and arteries
Conduct procedures including abdominal vascular studies, lower extremity (L.E.) and upper extremity (U.E.) evaluations, venous Doppler exams,doppler ultrasounds,carotid assessments, and imaging for renal, pancreas, and liver transplants, as well as the Nielsen Cold Challenge and other specialized studies
Performotherexamssuch asvenous reflux studies, arterial duplex scanning, carotid duplex scanning, and transcranial Doppler (TCD) ultrasound
Provide rapid imaging for acute conditions such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or suspected arterial blockages
Assess for conditions such as blood clots, blockages, aneurysms, or arterial diseases
Work closely with vascular surgeons, cardiologists, and other specialists toprovidediagnostic insights
Processing and transmission of images to PACS
Qualifications Education and Work Experience
Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
ARDMS certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain
Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire
Current BLS (AHA) certificate
Proficient computer skills
