Job Description About the Role The Production Associate 2 employee at Cornerstone Building Brands Aperture Solutions is responsible for various windows & doors assembly operations while ensuring we safely make a quality product and minimize waste/cost, so it can be delivered on time to customers. Also, responsible for working with a sense of urgency while maintaining the flow of material throughout the plant by performing the following duties.

Operate hand tools as required and assemble, lift, pick and pack products.

Support and participate in Employee Engagement activities.

Follow defined clean‑up times.

Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies.

Must follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and standardized operations.

Participate in defining and improving standard work to enhance quality windows for customers.

Identify problems; communicate issues.

Assist with training co‑workers.

Support a respectful workplace.

Perform other duties across the plant as needed, as directed by supervision or management.

Qualifications What You’ll Need

Ability to read a tape measure and interpret fractions and decimals.

Minimum word and number recognition/visual cues.

Operate power tools with dexterity, basic operations, and know when to change PPE.

Identify hazards while understanding station safety protocols.

Knowledge of measurement standards and tolerances.

Follow instruction and standard work while frequently referencing standard work instructions.

Knowledge of product defects specific to your workstation.

Quality recognition in station quality requirements/CTQ.

Communicate effectively by actively listening, explaining clearly & accurately, asking questions, sharing important information.

Time management and awareness of cycle times.

Perform basic math (addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals).

Interface with a computer system by accessing, navigating, and identifying files.

Stand for 8 to 10 hours using good posture and repetitive motion.

Problem solving using root cause analysis.

Dependability – be on time consistently.

Profile recognition: ability to recognize shapes and compare to sample drawings.

Monitor inventory by adhering to min‑max levels (WIP) and utilizing scrap.

Record keeping: accurate, timely, legible.

Wear required PPE – metatarsal shoes, arm guards, ear protection, and safety glasses.

Dependability, punctuality & detail oriented.

High school diploma is preferred.

Ability to bend, squat, twist, push/pull, reach and stand.

Ability to consistently lift at least 50 pounds for 8 to 12 hours a day.

Ability to work in hot & cold environments.

Willing to work extended hours and weekends based on business needs.

Willing & able to work various positions in various departments (cross‑trained).

Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and standing for long periods.

Able to comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.

Follow supervisors’ instructions/directions as given.

Possess the following skills: problem solving, teamwork, communication, and initiative.

Preferred knowledge of WTS Paradigm and various ERP functionality.
