Location: Hayward, California

Accounts Payable Clerk
for our client, a highly regarded organization.
Full‑time, contract, on‑site opportunity for an A/P professional looking to join a collaborative team!
Base pay range $27.00/hr - $28.00/hr
Overview The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the A/P team by managing full‑cycle accounts payable processes in a deadline‑driven environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks while working closely with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling high‑volume invoice processing and contributing immediately to the efficiency of the accounting function.
What you’ll be doing
Perform full‑cycle accounts payable processing, including invoice entry and payment preparation
Complete three‑way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
Review invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and coding
Resolve discrepancies by communicating with vendors and internal departments
Maintain accurate and well‑organized A/P records to support audits and reporting
Prioritize workload to consistently meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Collaborate closely with the A/P team and provide additional support as needed
Qualifications
Proven experience with full‑cycle accounts payable
Strong knowledge of three‑way matching
Experience with Sage preferred
Compensation This position offers a pay rate of $27-$28 per hour plus benefits including medical, dental, vision and voluntary life insurance, an employee assistance plan (EAP), commuter and transit benefits, an employee retirement plan, and more!
