In the Division of Equipment under the direction of a Highway Equipment Superintendent II, the incumbent supervises a staff engaged in Equipment Materiel Operations work, concerning the purchasing, inventory, disbursement, shipping and receiving of equipment parts, materiel, related equipment and services for the fabrication, maintenance, repair and disposal of mobile equipment. Incumbent must possess a valid class C driver license and will occasionally travel to off‑site locations.

Overall Job Description The position is located at 1385 N West Ave., Fresno, Fresno County. This is a Limited Term position which may be extended to 24 months or become permanent.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications as described in the Classification Specification for Equipment Materiel Manager II

Valid driver’s license when operating a state owned or leased vehicle

The Class Specification contains additional minimum qualifications, including education, experience and certification.

Working Conditions Work is performed in a warehouse/office environment with occasional travel to off‑site locations. Standard working hours and duties are within normal state civil service provisions.
