Job Summary
The Extrusion Operator - Night Shift is responsible for operating extrusion production lines in a safe, efficient, and quality‑focused manner in accordance with established standard operating procedures. This role supports overnight production and requires strong attention to detail, independence, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Operate extrusion production lines safely and according to established procedures Secure and maintain materials and supplies required for production Monitor equipment and feed alarms and respond to issues as they arise Perform routine equipment checks and complete required documentation Stack, label, band, and prepare finished product according to standards Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality specifications are met Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Communicate production, quality, and maintenance issues during shift handoffs Perform random quality checks and verify measurements, color, and specifications Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives during night operations Assist in training and mentoring Extrusion Operator Trainees as needed Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred Basic math skills required Ability to pass extrusion operator aptitude and quality assurance testing Must be at least 18 years of age Skills & Abilities
Ability to work safely and independently during night operations Ability to recognize material quality and identify defects Ability to perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices such as tape measures Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Good hand-eye coordination Ability to work assigned night shift hours, including weekends if required Ability to pass a drug test Workplace Conduct

Salary Pay Range:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour dependent on experience* (pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living) Bonus/Incentive Pay
