Our Buffalo, New York facility is the newest and flagship location utilizing our proven and growing Surestone technology. This state‑of‑the‑art extrusion and polymer manufacturing facility is building strong inventory and material control practices from the ground up.
Job Summary The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by performing regular physical counts of raw materials, work‑in‑process, and finished goods. This role investigates inventory discrepancies, ensures accurate system transactions, and supports strong internal controls across the Buffalo facility. The Cycle Counter plays a critical role in supporting production flow, financial accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Accurately record inventory counts in the ERP system
Identify, research, and communicate inventory discrepancies to management
Investigate root causes of inventory variances and document corrective actionsEnsure accuracy of inventory data and compliance with internal controls
Prepare inventory reports and documentation as required
Partner with Operations, Production, and Shipping/Receiving to ensure accurate material movement
Maintain organized records and audit trails related to inventory activity
Participate in physical inventories as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of one year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related role
Working knowledge of inventory control processes and counting procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Manufacturing environment experience preferred; extrusion or polymer experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment
Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation & Benefit Information Salary Pay Range:
$18.00–$25.00 per hour dependent on experience* Salary Pay Range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
