Maintenance Technician – Ridgeway Apartments
Join Elmington Property Management as a Maintenance Technician to keep Ridgeway Apartments running smoothly. This role requires a strong background in plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs, and the ability to respond promptly to service requests.
Responsibilities
Provide exemplary customer service to all residents, proactively solving issues and creating a warm environment.
Maintain the physical condition of the property, utilizing hand tools and power tools.
Pick up debris and remove objects from the property.
Respond to issues outside of the normal work schedule when required.
Professional and timely responses to all work orders.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding organizational skills, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Passion for chasing excellence and providing exemplary customer service.
Strong background in plumbing, general carpentry, and appliance repairs.
Basic computer skills for email and company software.
Meet task deadlines as assigned.
Essential Education or Experience
Required: Hold at least one of the following certifications and obtain within 60 days if not certified: EPA Section 608 or HVAC Certification.
Preferred: OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, CPO, Plumbing or Electrical Licenses.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Frequently sit, stand and walk; occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
Regularly required to talk or hear; use hands or fingers to handle tools.
Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Moderate to high noise level; moderate temperature with seasonal extremes.
Travel Requirements Travel up to 10% of the time.
