What’s the Role About? In this remote position, you will handle inbound calls and emails from customers of a utility company, addressing issues such as water outages, emergencies, service initiation or termination, and billing inquiries. You will de-escalate complaints and promote additional services.
Responsibilities
Respond to incoming customer calls regarding water or wastewater services
Educate customers on billing details and available assistance programs
Provide accurate information and solutions to ensure a high level of satisfaction
Focus on first-call resolution
Assist with account management and updates to personal information
Document interactions in the call-tracking system
Maintain a courteous and business-like manner regardless of call difficulty
Handle pressure to meet deadlines and performance goals
Perform additional duties as required by management
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of customer service experience
1 year of call center experience preferred
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Natural empathy and ability to portray a positive professional image
Adaptable to change and able to conduct efficient research within time constraints
Adherence to policies, procedures, schedules and confidentiality requirements
Proficient typing, mouse use and basic Windows OS knowledge
Work At Home Requirements
Reliable, high-speed internet with a wired Ethernet connection (WiFi not acceptable)
Download speed ≥10 Mbps, upload speed ≥5 Mbps
Dedicated workspace in a quiet, distraction-free environment
InteLogix will provide a computer for the duration of the position
