Travel RN Job Details
Location: Albany, OR (Coastal Oregon); travel between North Lincoln Hospital and Pacific Communities Hospital
Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Hospice RN)
Duration: 13‑week contract (October 17, 2025 – January 16, 2026)
Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed hours
Shift: 8‑hour day shifts (08:00 – 16:30), occasional weekends
On‑Site Nursing Position
Hospice RN Qualifications
Active, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license (required upon submission)
Current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
Valid driver’s license and auto liability/property damage insurance (personal vehicle required for travel)
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (hospice, home health, or case management experience preferred)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Ability to travel between patient care locations as needed
Hospice Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver skilled nursing care and compassionate support to hospice patients in diverse settings: private homes, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living, and adult foster homes
Provide pain and symptom management, medical social services, counseling, and spiritual care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members, including hospice aides, volunteers, and bereavement support staff
Participate in 24‑hour on‑call nursing services as needed
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Travel between North Lincoln Hospital and Pacific Communities Hospital based on patient needs
