Posting Summary Subject to availability of funding, the Department will have two openings at the level of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor, with the possibility of appointment at a higher level (including the ranks of Associate Professor, Full Professor, and Distinguished Professor) for exceptional candidates. The department has identified priority areas of Algebra & Algebraic Geometry, and Discrete Mathematics, but outstanding candidates in any area of mathematics may be considered. Candidates must have a PhD in mathematics by employment start date. Candidates will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics, perform research, and supervise graduate students. The normal teaching load for research-active faculty is 2–1.

Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience: Ph.D. in Mathematics and strong evidence of promise as a researcher and teacher of mathematics.
