About The Role We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our Patient Services department in a full‑time, 12‑hour day shift role. As a Patient Services Intake RN, you will screen, assess, and prioritize patients based on clinical need to ensure timely care. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct clinical screenings and assessments to determine patient needs and level of care.
Prioritize patients by illness severity and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop appropriate care plans.
Ensure individuals are referred to the most suitable internal or external services and resources.
Review referral packets from emergency departments, crisis teams, and private practice to verify medical necessity and ensure compliance with admission criteria.
Work closely with psychiatrists, medical staff, and the A/R department to ensure smooth, efficient admissions processes.
Apply the Admission Criteria and Medical Necessity guidelines to all evaluations.
Schedule
Full‑time, 12‑hour day shifts
Thursday‑Saturday, 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
