The Human Resources team is responsible for maintaining accurate personnel records, managing benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and workers' compensation, as well as overseeing timekeeping and accident reporting. Additionally, Human Resources provides technical assistance to other County departments, helping them meet their unique needs and objectives.
An hourly salary range of $37.50 to $43.59 is anticipated for this position.

Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the talent acquisition team. Oversee employee engagement programs and activities for the organization, including identifying areas of concern within departments that impact employee engagement, retention, and recruiting efforts.
Develop, initiate, and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion, and succession planning. Oversee the applicant tracking system (NeoGov), create job postings, and facilitate intake meetings. Analyze data and statistics to identify trends and patterns, focusing on recruitment, hiring practices, motivation, and turnover. Support the Human Resources Director in driving cultural change across the organization and strengthening the organization’s people capabilities through collaboration and partnerships. Oversee the development of initiatives that shape the culture; Accomplish department objectives by supervising staff, organizing, and monitoring work processes.
Oversee the maintenance and execution of the performance management system and processes, including manager education, current job descriptions, standards of performance, and performance evaluation instruments; Research and assist in the development of performance management training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements; Identifies and recommend reasonable short and long term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
Gather data, create reports, and conduct data analysis to provide insight and actionable strategic solutions.
Collaborates with County Strategic Plan partners to establish HR goals and objectives that will help propel the County's Strategic Plan. This visionary directive includes developing Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound goals that use relevant metrics and work plans to accomplish.
Conducts NEO orientation and oversees special projects assigned to the team.
Qualifications
Graduation with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or another related field.
A minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources experience is required.
Must have at least two (2) years of progressive leadership and supervisory experience in managing personnel or major projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Talent acquisition experience.
Experience with HRIS software.
The applicant selected must undergo and pass a drug screening test prior to employment.
