Behavioral Health Receptionist / Front Desk - Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic
Entune Behavioral Health is an Outpatient Behavioral Health Group that offers individual, couples, and family therapy as well as other Behavioral Health services in Arizona.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or team member
Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimal wait times
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
Collect co-pays and fees, ensuring accurate records and adherence to financial policies
Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality (HIPAA)
Assist patients with inquiries and provide relevant information about services and procedures
Prepare and process medical forms and documents
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and deliveries
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably multiple years in a medical or behavioral health setting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organization and administrative skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite
Proven experience in Electronic Health/Medical Record Systems, preferably Advanced MD (AMD)
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
Professional appearance and demeanor
Current CPR, AED, First Aid Certification ( Required )
Current DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card ( Required )
