What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Partner with the application team to implement and maintain EHR systems and databases
Manage the analysis, design, implementation, operation, and support of information technology resources
Interface with all areas of Information Technology Services to ensure project success
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other professional staff regarding drug‑related issues
Demonstrate innovative thinking to meet project deadlines and commitments
What is Required (Qualifications)
Current licensure with the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy
Minimum of three to six years of hospital pharmacy experience
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree
Thorough knowledge of inpatient and clinic‑based operations
Ability to work at a high technical level on application systems analysis and workflow analysis
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous Epic experience in training, build, and/or support of the Epic systems electronic health record suite
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited academic program
